- optimal water circulation
- composition of the stainless steel according to local water quality, chosen only after water has been analysed
- indefinite lifespan
- completely leak proof due to welded seams
- no cracks or surface brittleness
- short construction periods due to high level of pre-construction
- absolutely hygienic
- prevents growth of micro-organisms
- very easy to clean
- totally weatherproof, whether frost or heat
- virtually limitless variety of possible shapes and forms

The Quality
Stainless steel is a high quality, refined material and its unique properties allow for theperfect adjustment to many criteria such as water quality, stability and environmental impact.
To be able to guarantee these unique properties, e.s.m works with the highest demands on suppliers, technology, manufacturing, and assembly. An internal and external control, training and quality assurance system supports and guarantees these demands.
External quality control, among others:
– Herstellerqualifikation Kl. D (Manufacturer Qualification)
certifies the qualification for dead load welding of steel components.
– Qualitäts-Managementsystem ISO 9001: 2000 (Quality-Management System)
this system is certified and valid for 3 years. It is tested annually for its effectiveness by an external auditor.
– external quality control of the production by the via TÜV Süddeutschland (Technical Inspection Agency South Germany)
– Testing of the welding methods and processes by the institute for material testing in Dresden
Internal quality control
– exclusive use of stainless steel
– use of certified semi-finished parts and materials
e.g. use of certified stainless steel sheets with slip-restant properties A + B + C according to DIN 51 097
– employment of our own graduate welding engineer
– regular seminars and advanced training courses for all our employees.
The Technology

Pre-Construction
In gerneral, two different methods are used for the construction of stainless steel pools; the cladding of existing pool bodies and he construction of pool walls with self supporting structures.
Both methods have in common that a major part of the pool is pre-constructed in our work shops. That has the advantage that the construction can always be carried out under perfect conditions. The becomes especially important for the construction of complicated structures.
If the assembly of the pool has to be carried out on the site, the steel structure is segmented according to the transport and assembly conditions and welded togehter on the site.
The advantages are obvious:
- Short assembly time on site
- The assembly is independent form the seasonn and wether conditions
- Optimal conditions for transport
- Even large pools can be assembled on site with is limited accessibility.

Cladding
Pre-constructed stainless steel wall segments are mounted onto walls of existing swimming pools.

When it comes to renovating existing pools, cladding the walls with stainless steel offers the best alternative. The flexible and extremely durable material gives old structures new lustrous shine.
e.s.m. lend even historical public pools a new lease on life.
The size of the pool to be relined is of secondary importance. Whether a large old concrete pool, such as the diving pool in the Geibeltbad Pirna, or a small new pool in the upper storey of a hotel. Due to the flexibility our pools, every need can be met.

A pool with self supporting structure is set onto a concrete foundation. After the assembly the cavity is filled with soil and a floor covering of your choice to level it with the height of the pool. |
